CIX-800 - MR16 LED Lamp Kit

The CIX-800 is a MR16 LED lamp upgrade kit that uses the latest LM80 Tested & Approved NICHIA LED Technology.

Designed to replace standard 35-50 Watt MR16 halogen lamps, the CIX-800 is the upgraded version of the innovative and highly successful CIX-700 series. Hundreds of thousands of CIX series lamps are providing reliable service in commercial premises and homes throughout Australia.

Maximised performance is provided by 8 high quality Nichia LED chips, together with highly efficient optical lens to provide smooth illumination and reduce glare. The chips are thermally bonded to a finely cast heatsink with multiple fins and high IR emissivity coating. Careful attention to the thermal dynamics ensure that the LED chips are operated at low temperatures for long term reliability and performance.

The CIX LED lamp is the same shape as a standard halogen, and fits seamlessly into existing fittings without the need for structural modifications. The existing Bi-Pin lampholder can be re-used if necessary. A typical conversion can be installed in a matter of minutes by an electrician - simply remove the existing halogen lamp & transformer, then install the new LED Lamp and Driver combination into the existing luminaire.

The lamp is matched to a fully integrated dimmable driver, delivering excellent light output whilst reducing overall energy consumption by approximately 85%. Each CIX-800 kit comprises of an LED Lamp plus the matching Driver which is pre-fitted with 1.5m flex and AU plug and a GX5.3 (Bi-Pin) lampholder.

CIX-800 is approved under the NSW IPART ESS and Victorian ESC VEET energy savings schemes, to generate energy savings certificates.

PLEASE NOTE: This is a lamp retrofit kit, specifically intended to re-use the existing luminaire. No downlight or any other light fixture is included. If required, a new downlight frame or other fixture can be purchased from any lighting store to suit this product.
